One of the questions we get asked most at the shop is: “Are your macarons gluten-free?”

Our macarons are made with almond flour, which is naturally gluten-free. All the flavours on our current menu are gluten-free, with one exception: our Sticky Date Pudding macaron, which contains gluten.

If you have coeliac disease or any food allergies, please speak with our team before choosing your flavours. We’ll be happy to help!

Our best-selling cake

This design has become such a favourite with our customers. It’s simple, elegant and perfect for a smaller celebration.

Our 6-inch cake serves around 7–8 slices and is $130.

If you’d like one for your celebration, you can order in store, send us an email or message us here. We just ask for at least one to two weeks’ notice, and your order is confirmed once the deposit is received.

Availability may vary, so the earlier you get in touch, the better.

August was a month of showing up, even on the busy and exhausting days.

Between baking, decorating cakes, serving customers and running the shop, I challenged myself to share more of what happens behind Tortas et Délices.

Throughout these 30 days, I showed you the process behind my creations, introduced new flavours, shared real behind-the-scenes moments and celebrated some beautiful achievements, including reaching 900 followers!

This challenge helped me feel more confident, connect with more people and understand that you don’t need everything to be perfect before sharing your journey. Sometimes, people simply want to see the person, the work and the love behind the business.

Thank you to everyone who followed along, interacted with my posts, visited the shop or placed an order. These 30 days may be complete, but this is only the beginning.

Yesterday, I showed you that things don’t always go perfectly behind the scenes.

Although, there’s something so satisfying about a good before and after!

It started as a simple buttercream cake and ended as a design full of colour, texture and character.

Not everything behind the scenes is perfect. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and this cake was one of those moments.

It cracked, so I had to stop, take a breath and carefully find a way to fix it. These moments can be stressful, but they are also part of working with handmade cakes.

A little patience, care and problem-solving, and this was the final result.

From the first sketch to the final details, this cake was created with so much care.

Every custom cake starts with an idea. Then comes the planning, baking, filling, decorating and all the little finishing touches that make each creation unique.

Seeing my original sketch come to life is always such a special part of the process, but receiving a message saying that everyone loved and enjoyed the cake makes it even more rewarding.

Some moments deserve a little extra sweetness. ✨

Our macarons are delicately piped, generously filled and finished by hand, one by one.

Perfect for birthdays, weddings, dessert tables, afternoon tea or even as a beautiful gift for someone special. Crisp on the outside, soft and creamy in the centre, they’re the perfect little detail to make any occasion feel even more memorable.

A little tip for anyone who loves our Cookie Bar Bites to keep them fresh!

Make sure the lid is closed tightly and keep the jar in the fridge. This helps preserve their flavour and texture, so every bite stays just as delicious as the first.

For the best experience, enjoy them within 15 days… although they rarely last that long! 😅

A little glimpse into last week 🤍

It was such a great one! Between baking, decorating cakes, preparing our sweets and keeping the display full, we also made a few changes around the shop, added some extra details and worked on new cake flavours.

Running a small business can be busy, but seeing everything come together makes it all worthwhile. It’s those little touches that make everything feel so special and unique.
