GOLLY! It has been a MINUTE since Beryl & Bob was an active profile. My last post was in October 2022 - my son Henry had only just turned one and I was still navigating my way through motherhood and finding my feet in a new skin that felt familiar and foreign all at the same time. I had every intention of continuing my small business, but life got in the way. I think I thought I could just do it all, and the reality is I couldn’t. All of a sudden it’s November 2025, and three years has passed. Since we last met, Grant and I married in August 2023 in Fiji 🤍 Henry was diagnosed with autism in December 2023 which brought its own challenges and new difficulties to face. We have been working with early intervention therapies, an occupational therapist and a speech therapist to help him be the best version of himself he can be, and we will support him in whichever way we can to make sure that he is as happy as possible. We welcomed our second child, Eden into our family in October 2024. We’ve recently celebrated her first birthday and I am now feeling a little freer than I did six months ago, like I have the time to do things that I enjoy. It would be completely remiss of me if I was to say that financial constraints and the cost of living haven’t also motivated this reopening. Two children now depend on our ability to provide, and while I work part time as a social media coordinator the reality is that I need to earn more to support my family. So here we are! I’ll be posting more in the coming days about new product styles, Christmas promotions and how I will be operating things this time around. If you’re new here, welcome.
