Shop front done in accoya, traditional mortice and tenon joinery, solid timber panels and bespoke bolection moulding to panels, with 12.76 mm acoustic glass ( which was ball bustingly heavy)
Panels open into a fabricated parcel box and access for gas and water. A nice 36.5 degree angle into doors just to keep things simple, and about 50 out of plumb masonry to make the check measure a doddle….

Super old #14 x 3/4” slotted brass screws a customer gifted me that were his father in law’s I believe way back when, still useful.

Pack of Alaskan yellow cedar, class one durable above ( upwards of 60 yrs)and below ground.
Only a touch heavier than western red, twice as hard, but no beautiful cedar smell… more like rotting potatoes !

So far I love it, between that and accoya will probably be my standard Timbers moving forward.

Pair of traditionally made sashes to fit in an old heritage frame that’s had some aluminium contraption as an eyesore for the last 40 yrs.

Hanging on the original weights 👍🏻

Now the old house is inside a large ‘modern house’ very cool.
