Can you believe it’s September already? 💚

We’re sneaking this one in on the very last day of August, but here is our September class and craft calendar so you can start planning your month.

There’s plenty happening around the tables again, with Chat & Craft, Card Play, scrapbooking with Yvonne, Sylvia and Tahnee, plus our Sketch Challenge throughout the month.

Have a look through the calendar and class details, pick what takes your fancy, and get your name down early because class spots are limited.

And of course, our Chat & Craft days are just $5, so bring along whatever you’re working on, pull up a chair and stay for as long as you like.

Our next Local Wonders Craft & Relax Long Weekend is coming up in October 💚✂️

Three days to spread out your projects, settle in, create, chat, laugh, eat and enjoy some proper time around the craft tables together.

📅 Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th October
📍 St Mark’s Parish Hall, Casino

Saturday & Sunday | 9am to 9pm
Monday | 9am to 5pm

And remember, you don’t have to stay from start to finish. Come along for whatever number of hours suits you each day. That’s what Local Wonders is all about. 💚

$45 per day or $110 for the full weekend
🍽️ Fully catered

We’ll have lunches each day, dinner on Saturday and Sunday, plus morning tea, afternoon tea, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a few sweet treats to keep everyone going.

Bring along the projects you’ve been meaning to finish, something brand new you’ve been wanting to start, or probably enough supplies for seventeen projects because we all know how these weekends work. 😂

Most importantly, bring yourself.

These weekends are about having somewhere to slow down, enjoy your craft and spend time with people who understand why bringing an entire carload of supplies is completely reasonable.

Just a little note that Friday Night Around the Craft Table is cancelled for tonight.

Come and join us for our this Saturday for a Sketch Challenge session ✂️

This one is a fun way to create from a sketch while still choosing your own colours and making the layout feel like yours.

We still have spots available in both the morning and afternoon sessions, or if you can’t make it on the day, packs can be made up for this one too.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined Mum and Dad for the Coffs Coast Creative Escape Retreat this year.

I was so sad I couldn’t be there this time because I was sick, but from the photos and everything I’ve heard, it looks like it was such a beautiful few days filled with crafting, laughter, friendship and plenty of memories made around the tables.

These retreats are never just about the crafting. They are about the people, the conversations, the friendships and the little moments that make everyone feel part of something.

We also want to say a big thank you to Tim and the team at Coffs Coast Adventure Centre for looking after everyone so well again. Tim always looks after the ladies beautifully, joins in for a chat and happily jumps into our group photos. He is a big part of why we love going back to Coffs Coast Adventure Centre every year.

And since I have been granted the power of social media poster, I thought I would also take the opportunity to wish Mum, Yvonne, a very happy birthday today.

Mum puts so much love, time, care and heart into Sensational Crafts, the classes, the retreats and everything she creates. She will probably tell me off for making a fuss, but I think we can all agree she deserves one.

Please join us in wishing Mum, Yvonne, a very happy birthday today.
