I live in the Adelaide hills on acreage with my husband and our Black Labrador. I’m a mum to 3 adult sons and Glamma to their kids. At 9, I taught myself to crochet, making various things as you do as a kid and then in 1980 I started my first large project. After a few life challenges, including our family home that was lost due to arson only a few months after starting, marriage, kids etc, Life g

ot in the way but I finally completed my Granny Square blanket some 38 years later. Since then, I’ve made oodles of beanies, blankets, toys etc. for family mainly and my latest creations are bags. The Ceramic venture became more serious about 25 years ago, painting on 38cm platters which I sold in galleries, outlets throughout the hills and via art exhibitions. Smaller creations, like beads, garden and home décor are now my main focus. And the Lampwork bead making has become part of my life for the last 18 years or so years. I hold and teach workshops on these various mediums in my/our home studio. These hobbies are intwined with all the work that comes with owning property and Running. Running became part of our lives about 15 years ago. My hubby and I are Ultra-Marathon runners which means distances over a Marathon which is 42,2km. The furthest we have run, so far at one time is 3 marathons or 130kms. I look forward to sharing my creations! And if you have made it to the end, thank you for your time, Jen.
