This has been a very difficult decision for us to make.
Dale and James are saddened to announce that The Sassy Emu Tea Room & Collectables will not be reopening in 2026.
With the continued rise in inflation, along with increasing food and fuel costs, we are no longer able to sustain a viable and fair business — for both our customers and ourselves. As a small, remote operation, these ongoing pressures have made this decision unavoidable.
We would sincerely like to thank our staff and customers for your continued support, loyalty, and friendship. We could never have imagined such a warm and wonderful response to our Tea Room, and we are truly grateful.
