We loved showcasing the latest, cutting-edge products on the market, designed by talented local artisans and crafted with sustainability in mind. It’s always a pleasure to share these beautifully designed pieces with our industry clients and to give everyone the opportunity to meet the creative minds behind them. When selecting a pendant to hang over your Dining table, you should consider how you might need the pendant to illuminate the table surface as well as the room.Linear pendants provide direct light to the tabletop but offer a long spread of light, ideal for rectangular tables. The linear pendant shouldn’t be the same length as your table, but long enough to illuminate the length of it.

Solid shaded pendants will also direct the light down to the tabletop, without reflecting light around the room. This can create a cosy mood and assist in providing more intimacy around the dining table. Be mindful of the length of your table in relation to the size of your pendant and if light will reach the ends of your table, you may need multiple pendants to achieve a broader spread of light.

Glass pendants offer a general illumination, spreading light in all directions. Light will then reflect off the surrounding ceiling and wall surfaces to provide a more even light distribution to the area. This is especially useful in spaces where there is a featured ceiling.
