Handmade by Cori started in 2013 as a result of receiving a beautiful "Eco" scented soy candle, after burning that candle I went to purchase another and really couldn't justify $39.95 price tag. I thought I’d do a bit of research and see if I could find a cheaper option, (whilst not compromising on quality!) There were a few other options out there but the thing that I couldn't shake was the idea
of making my own. Test burning was taking a long time so to speed up the testing process in search of the “perfect” mix I started recruiting friends and family to help, their feedback, advice and ideas helped shape Handmade by Cori into what it is today. After a little while, when my helpers ran out of their test candles they all started asking for more and offering to pay! The idea of this was overwhelming but, it seems that I wasn't the only one interested in saving money and still enjoying these little luxuries. I’m really proud of my products , I use the highest quality Eco soy wax available, fragrance oils designed especially for use in Soy wax and natural fibre wicks. I know my products are just as high quality as the candle that started this whole thing, but has the extra charm of being hand poured and locally produced.
