Make a cup of coffee and light a candle...a morning ritual that brings me joy. The only problem was that I was spending too much money. If I bought expensive candles, I ended up 'saving them for best' and they'd gather dust on my shelf. If I bought cheap ones, I'd worry they weren't giving a clean burn (especially now I have a toddler and a baby). Plus, I never found a fragrance that I absolutely loved. It was always a bit of a gamble. The solution? Make my own. All my candles are made with the best ingredients and are a labour of love:
*Soy wax for a clean, non toxic burn- no smoke marks and it won't reduce the air quality of your home.
*Pure, natural fragrance oils with beautiful, long lasting scents and 'throw'. I use 8% fragrance load so they make your home smell beautiful all the time...even when they aren't lit.
*I like to use fragrance oils that have aromatherapy benefits. Some uplift and energise, some help you feel calm and relaxed. (There are tea light samples available for just a dollar each so try as many as you like and see which your favourites are.)
*Handwritten labels, repurposed glass jars and no expensive packaging. The candles speak for themselves and it makes sure they're great value for money. No 'saving for best'. Let them burn!
*Because the candles come in all different shapes and sizes, they're individually priced depending on size, wax weight and burn time - you'll see I've noted these things on each one. It's important to know what you're getting for your money.
*Be part of the collective - buy your first candle and once you've enjoyed it, bring the jar back to me to refill. Helps minimise waste AND will save you money with 10% off your next order.
