After this Coolum stunner achieved a record-breaking sale, we asked the owners if there was anything they would do differently on their next build.

There’s a reason we’re drawn to curves.

They exist everywhere in nature — in landscapes, in movement, in the human form. They feel familiar. Soft. Instinctively right.

In design, curves can bring that same sense of ease into a space.

But like anything natural, they need to belong.

When introduced with intention and proportion, curved walls and tiled surfaces can soften edges and create flow.

When they’re forced, they can feel out of place just as quickly.

Good design isn’t about adding more.
It’s about understanding what feels right …and why.
