Who owns The Kitchen Bench you ask?

Let us introduce Marianne Anderson.
Marianne is as local as they come to the Snowy Mountains. She grew up in Cabramurra, lived in Adaminaby, Cooma and Canberra where she now works full time.

So, why buy The Kitchen Bench?

When Marianne heard Danielle was selling The Kitchen Bench, she knew that if the business didn't sell, its doors may close for good. Marianne didn't want to see another local shop disappear from Cooma or staff lose their jobs. With a little convincing (and perhaps a gentle twist of her hubby's arm!), the business was purchased.

Marianne is passionate about supporting local businesses and producers. The Kitchen Bench is proud to stock Sourdough with Altitude, Jams and Relish by Gavin's Kitchen and beautiful Rock Stack Pottery created by Shannan Salverstro.

Please drop by the shop and say hello to the girls and support local whenever you can 💚
