This is my August upload for Helmar

I have chosen the Dina Wakley Ledger for its sturdy pages

which worked perfectly as a foundation for layering the scraps from a Michelle Grant kit.

Water colours from Bee Arty, stamps from Lavinia Stamps along with some Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.

My glue is Helmar Tacky Glue to stick the tree & birds down.

I water-coloured the background & let it dry over a few weeks (Stocktake got in the way)

Once the surface was ready, I began to assemble my collage,

layering textured paper fragments and experimenting with different placements until the scene felt balanced.

The subtle layering of translucent colours added depth,

while the stamped motifs brought a touch of whimsy to the composition.
