We need your help!

Our branch has a rich history, and our beautiful building will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2028. To mark this special milestone, we’re creating a timeline of our story—something to treasure and pass on to future generations.

If you’re a former CWA member, or related to someone who was, we would love your help. We’re especially looking for photographs of the original building—both inside and out—as well as any memorabilia we could borrow or copy.

Although the centenary is still two years away, this will truly be a labour of love, and we want to gather as much as we can over the coming months. If you have something to share, please get in touch with our Secretary, Robyn, via email at [email protected] or send us a message here on Facebook.

We’re looking for:
• Photos – inside, outside, events, members (anything featuring our building)
• Old CWA magazines
• Badges
• Historical printed CWA material
• Stories passed down from family members
• CWA recipes you’ve inherited

Every piece, big or small, helps us preserve our story 💛

🤩We're buzzing with excitement for our next incredible exhibition, "Tapestry of Time: Four Generations of the Sanger Family." This showcase, presented by the Corowa District Historical Society, dives deep into the history of one of Corowa's most significant pioneer families—the namesakes of Sanger Street—using the rich collection from the Corowa Federation Museum.

What can you look forward to? A dazzling display of fashion spanning eighty years, from the Gilded Nineties to the Swinging Seventies! ✨ The Sanger women were the style icons of their day, famous for balancing homesteader life with metropolitan flair, even traveling to Melbourne for the latest trends. You’ll see their story told through magnificent clothing, including a wedding dress, a maternity dress, accessories, and period undergarments. It’s a captivating glimpse into local life and high fashion! 👗👒

Mark your calendars now! "Tapestry of Time" will be on display from January 15 to February 28, 2026, at the Corowa Art Space.
