At Spin-A-Yarn we welcome all crafters to come and enjoy their craft and have a cuppa, a cold drink, morning tea or lunch with other like minded people. If you love macrame, scrapbooking, embroidery, tapestry, card making, cross stitch, jewellery making, quilting, beading, crochet, knitting we are the place for you and your crafty friends or groups

Spin-A-Yarn was created out of frustration with

the lack of shops and crafting places by 2 long time friends who saw a need for a more personal and friendly environment to purchase nice quality yarn, somewhere you can go and see and feel what you are buying

Not only is Spin-A-Yarn a specialty store, it now has online shopping. Craft groups – crochet, knitting, card creation, quilting etc can book the space to come together to work on projects and socialise. Spin a yarn is also a place where people can come and teach their craft skills to others, please contact us for further information. We look forward to meeting you and growing a wonderful business for all to enjoy as our dream comes true.

Who’s joining us tomorrow for a fun-filled King’s Birthday public holiday?

We’ll be open from 11am–3pm, so gather your friends, bring along your latest craft project, or simply come and enjoy some great company and plenty of laughs.

The café will be open, and Leanne will be busy whipping up a delicious homemade sponge cake along with fresh mixed sandwiches. Our regular café menu will also be available, so there’ll be plenty of tasty treats to choose from.

📜 Hear Ye, Hear Ye! 📜

By Royal Decree, on this King’s Birthday Public Holiday Monday, our doors shall be open from 11:00am until 3:00pm.

Loyal subjects are invited to grace us with their presence, whether accompanied by a treasured craft project or simply their delightful selves.

The café shall be serving refreshments fit for royalty, and rumour has it that a rather cheeky sponge cake may make an appearance.
