We’re Talla and Ari - siblings, second-generation rug specialists, and the founders of Four Corners Rugs. We grew up in rug stores, surrounded by the beauty and knowledge of rugs.

But when it came time to do our own thing, we had a clear objective: we wanted to maintain quality and make rugs more accessible.

We continually travel the globe, meeting our manufacturers, and finding innovative ways to offer the best balance from the rug industry: a selection of bespoke rug designs with affordable luxury options to suit the way we live today.

Our core rug ranges are designed with everyone in mind, including families with kids and pets (and the occasional clumsy friend). No matter the room, our rugs are designed to slide right into your world.

Wool rugs are easy to clean and long lasting... if made with intention. ⁠

Many wool rugs shed or “fuzz” over time. That is because the yarn is not not hand spun, low grade or are not woven tightly enough.⁠
⁠
Look for hand knotted or handloom rugs with cut or tight loop piles in NZ wool or Argentinian wool. Everything else will become as fluffy as Polo eventually. ⁠

Emma & Michelle opted for warm tones, which is bang on for interior direction at the moment. But with a solid fabric or leather couch, it does pay to add some texture in with your rug and soft furnishings, just as they’ve done. These details are what make the room feel elevated 👏🏼

Jules & Nath had a lot of colour and depth already in the room. To make the room feel cosy, our Plush Rug was the perfect edition. It has a beautiful sheen and is thick and cosy. So it’s perfect for your feet to land on when you get out of bed 🙌🏼
