Textiles Sunday 10-3! We’re throwing open the doors to Primrose Park for a day. Enjoy live immersive demonstrations of different textile practices (weaving, spinning, gelli fabric printing, stitching, quilting, etc) and try your hand at some (or all!).
Wander through the exhibition, shop for handcrafted pieces made by our members. Grab a coffee and a slice of cake and soak up the creativity.
Bring along your scissors, shears, snips or knives for professional sharpening with Edge Sharpening Service while you're there.
If you’ve ever been curious about what we do, here’s your opportunity to find out. Please come along and bring your friends.

Workshop: Discover the traditional Korean patchwork technique of Jogakbo with contemporary textile artist Taerim Claire Jeon.

In this workshop, we will be making a single-layered Jogakbo using a stiff natural fibre called Moshi (Ramie) using a seaming technique called Ssamsol. The Jogakbo can be used as a wall decoration, a tea table cover or a sun shade. Let’s make something unique by using leftover materials in a thoughtful way; good for the environment and full of creativity.

Where: Primrose Park Art and Craft Centre, Matora Lane, Cremorne NSW
When: Sunday 24 August 11am-4pm
Cost: $135 ($160 non member)

Jogakbo kit (Korean silks, threads and needles) is included. Other things to bring: a cutting mat, fabric awl, scissors, patchwork ruler.
Tea, coffee and water are available at Primrose Park Art and Craft Centre, but we suggest you bring your own lunch and snacks, as there are no shops nearby.
