We have a baby, he’s amazing, his parents are amazing, his mum is a wonder woman.
I have cried so many emotional tears over the past few days.
Heading back to the Gong tomorrow, will open the shop up on Sunday and get all my orders organised, then head back to Canberra for a few more days.
Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes and msgs.
We are all overjoyed at his arrival.
These are just a few things I made while waiting for his arrival.

Card surcharges, I’ve always absorbed the cost and never passed it on to my customers. My customers paying by card is more convenient for me as a small business.
On a personal level, i felt annoyed when I went to pay for something and there was an added surcharge without even letting me know.
Be nice if the banks didn’t charge any of us really, but that’s not going to happen.

Belfó is patiently waiting for the baby to arrive. We’ve all decided he’s definitely a Colombian baby, living life on his own time.
I’ve been knitting away at a sweet little cardi, I best hurry up and keep knitting incase he’s just waiting for his nanna to finish it, it’s bit chilly here in Canberra today. I can’t wait to meet him and see his little face and experience the emotions that his arrival will bring.
I shall keep you all updated 💙

It’s been five weeks since the yarn ball and I haven’t shown off the outfit I made for it!
This is the Paris skirt pattern by knitted in a cotton whirl along with two strands of concept mohair
My top is the Inovec pullover by Karin Fernandes I started this the week of the event, sketched out the letters in a grid book and finished it just in time. Using silk garden solo with the words yarn ball est 2026 on the front and my business name on the back.
Such a great night!
20% of the tickets for next years event have been sold already.
I’ll try and plan my outfit a bit earlier for the next one, who am I kidding 😘
