BREAKING: Santa is officially on his way to Australia.

New pictures confirm he's packed the sleigh and is about to pick up the other reindeer before setting off on his global deliveries.

When he reaches Australian airspace, Santa's sleigh will be tracked by air traffic controllers around the country and given priority clearance over all other aircraft, ensuring he gets to every home before Christmas morning.

His only instruction is that kids get to bed early.
