Proud to stand beside Shaune, Kimberley, the Watts family and Mater Foundation for the Third Annual Jack Watts Legacy Golf Day.
This event means a great deal to us at SJK Collective.
The purpose says it all:
Together, we drive hope when all is lost.
Through the Mater Rare Cancer Hub, funds raised from this golf day are helping create access to clinical trials for rare cancer patients when traditional treatment options have been exhausted.
That means hope.
Hope for more time.
Hope for more options.
Hope for families who are facing something no family should have to face.
To see this event already sold out with 36 teams and a record $78,500 in sponsorship is incredible. It shows the strength of the community Shaune and Kimberley have built around Jack’s legacy.
SJK Collective is honoured to return as Co Host Sponsor and continue supporting an event and cause that is so close to our hearts.
A huge thank you to every sponsor, donor and person getting behind the day. There are still opportunities to support through sponsorship or prize donations, so please reach out to Shaune Watts or Mater Foundation if you would like to be involved.
Jack’s legacy continues to make a real impact, and we are grateful to play a small part in helping that impact grow.
Together, we drive hope when all is lost
This is the purpose statement for my Third Annual Jack Watts Legacy golf day (17th consecutive overall) with support of Mater Foundation being held on Friday 28, August and yes, the golf pun is intentional, as that’s exactly what we are trying to achieve from the golf day this year.
With the creation of the Mater Rare Cancer Hub (Hub) from the inaugural Jack Watts Legacy golf day in 2024 ($103k raised) and the subsequent funds raised from this event last year ($105k raised), coupled with the $100K that Solahart have generously donated via their annual conference in Vietnam that Kimberley and I attended in March, this is exactly what we are doing.
When all traditional methods of treatment have been exhausted, the clinical trials that have been established through the Hub is providing “HOPE”, hope for rare cancer patients and their families that maybe these trials can extend their life and give them an opportunity that wasn’t available prior to the establishment of the Hub and the work they are doing.
With the sold-out sign up with 36 confirmed teams and a record $78,500 in sponsorship, I want to share our family's heartfelt gratitude and thanks for the overwhelming generosity of the following Co-Host, Platinum, Gold and Hole sponsors.
