I spend a fair bit of time trying to keep up with what’s on, where to go, and who’s who in the queer communities of Garrmalang (and also Mparntwe and other parts of the NT). So, I’m gonna park stuff on the socials as I go along and maybe it’ll be fun for me and a bit of a shortcut for others. If you’re Queer or other LGBTIASB+ in the NT and you’re running an event/exhibition, in an event/exhibition, own/manage a business, whatever, and you’d like me to have you on my queerdar... hit me up with a dm. Today we’re celebrating le***an women, girls and gender-diverse people in all their diversity, and the joy, strength, creativity and community they bring to the LGBTQIA+ community.

To every le***an young person figuring things out, finding your people, embracing who you are, or still working out what that looks like: you belong.

Your identity is something to be proud of, your voice matters, and you deserve to feel safe, supported and celebrated exactly as you are.

Today, we celebrate the le***ans who came before us, those creating change today, and the young people shaping the future.
