Storage does not always need to look like a box.

This 1400 × 2200 mm Jarrah ladder bookcase was designed around a customer's valuable runner collection. The open A-frame profile creates generous display space while keeping clear views through the shelving.

It is a good example of why custom furniture starts with what the piece needs to hold—not with a standard catalogue shape.

This Tasmanian Oak apartment fit-out brought together a television wall unit, bed, bedside tables and bedroom cabinetry. Each piece answered a different storage need, but the repeated timber and detailing made the rooms feel connected.

The right dining table begins with the room—not a standard size on a showroom floor.

This custom Messmate setting was made at 2100 × 1100 mm for a client near Glenlyon. The generous top creates a substantial everyday dining surface, while the tapered legs and clean underframe keep the design visually light.

Matching Oslo chairs carry the timber tones through the complete setting.

A dining table designed to be the centre of the room.

This custom 2000 × 1000 mm Messmate table combines a double-edged top, black resin detailing and a clear two-pack finish. Australian-made powder-coated X-leg bases give the piece a strong contemporary profile while keeping the timber as the feature.

The design began with a similar table the Melbourne client had seen on our page, then was adapted to suit their home.
