Have you ever wondered what it’s like to have your head inside an armchair? Shooting staples into fabric and wood? Well here is your chance!
2 spots left in our build and upholster an ottoman class happening this Saturday the 20th on the Northern Beaches, Sydney.
Katie from is hosting in her workshop and is running the wood building side of the project, while I take you through the upholstery skills. I have 20 years experience and happy to share my knowledge!

Katie from and I joined together a few months ago to do the first ottoman building workshop and it was a great success with everyone going home with a beautiful ottoman and smiles all around!
The ottoman has a beautiful design with mitred corners and upholstery details that add some class. Anyone that is a beginner in woodworking and upholstery is capable of this class. If you are happy to use a staple gun, please come and join us!

What a day!
On Saturday, myself and Katie from hosted our first woodwork and upholstery workshop!
5 keen ladies did an amazing job completing a hardwood ottoman from start to finish in 1 day. They got to go home with a beautiful piece of furniture they can be proud to say they made.
A big thank you to Katie for hosting and making it happen. I really enjoyed sharing my skills with some lovely enthusiastic women!

Spend a full day in the Girl & Grain workshop with 2 qualified tradeswomen, myself Maddy and Katie from .
You’ll learn proper techniques, use professional tools, and leave with a beautifully finished piece built by you.
In the morning, Katie will guide you through building the hardwood base. In the afternoon, I will teach you how to upholster your wood base using professional upholstery methods.
You’ll walk away with skills – and a finished ottoman that looks considered, refined and built to last.
