Construction complete at our purpose-built student accommodation in Clayton, at the gateway to Monash University.

Designed for modern student living, the project combines functional, thoughtfully planned spaces with a distinctive contemporary façade. Clean geometric forms, contrasting materials, textured masonry, warm timber battens and dark metal cladding create depth, rhythm and a strong street presence.

A considered balance of form, materiality and privacy delivers a student living environment that is both practical and enduring.

IDEA Awards 2026 ✨
We’re proud to have been shortlisted for this year’s IDEA Awards and to attend the Designer of the Year presentation at Cult Design Room.
It was a great opportunity to celebrate Australian design, hear from leading voices in the industry and connect with fellow designers and creatives.

Elwood Residence
A warm and refined interior shaped through materiality, proportion and thoughtful detailing.

At the Elwood Residence, natural timber joinery, soft stone surfaces and integrated lighting create a calm, cohesive palette throughout the home. The kitchen and adjoining bar are designed as part of a continuous architectural composition, with concealed storage and built-in appliances keeping the spaces visually clean and highly functional.

Vertical timber screening introduces rhythm and warmth while subtly defining different zones without closing them off. Together, the restrained finishes and carefully integrated det
ails create an interior that feels contemporary, comfortable and enduring.

JAA Cultural Day 2026 🌏

This year, our team came together to celebrate the cultures, traditions and personal stories that make up JAA.
From traditional clothing and meaningful family keepsakes to dishes from around the world, Cultural Day gave us the opportunity to learn more about one another beyond the workplace.
Each team member brought something that represented their culture or upbringing — sharing the story behind a dish, an object or a tradition that holds personal meaning. Along the way, there was plenty of food, conversation, guessing games and a few surprises.
At JAA, our different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives are an important part of who we are as a team. Cultural Day was a chance to celebrate that diversity, connect with one another and appreciate the stories that shape each of us.

A contemporary architectural response designed around movement, visibility and everyday functionality.
The Beaconsfield Swim School is defined by a strong sculptural form, generous glazing and a restrained palette of charcoal, white and blue-toned cladding. The articulated façade creates a clear identity from the street, while large areas of glazing bring natural light deep into the building and strengthen the visual connection between internal activity and the surrounding landscape.
Designed to support a welcoming and efficient experience for children, families and staff, the project balances practical operation with a confident architectural presence.

We’re delighted to share that the Quercus Building Group Office has been shortlisted in the IDEA Awards in the Workplace Under 1,000sqm category.

Designed to create a workplace that is both distinctive and inviting, the project brings together expressive materiality, sculptural forms and carefully considered detailing. A sweeping curved staircase forms a strong architectural feature, complemented by textured finishes, curated lighting and natural elements that add warmth and depth throughout the interior.

The shortlist recognition is a wonderful acknowledgement of the design approach, attention to detail and craftsmanship that shaped the Quercus Building Group Office.

We’re proud to share that The Tara has been shortlisted as a finalist in the UDIA Awards for Excellence.
A contemporary residential project defined by considered proportions, refined materiality and a strong connection between architecture and everyday living. The design balances a clean, sculptural exterior with warm and carefully detailed interiors, creating a home that feels both distinctive and inviting.
From the articulated façade and generous glazing to the restrained palette of natural stone, textured finishes and dark detailing, every element has been carefully considered to create a cohesive architectural identity.
Being recognised as a UDIA finalist is a wonderful acknowledgement of the design, collaboration and attention to detail that have shaped The Tara.
