I have an affinity with the sea, and I love the bush, and so I often find my inspiration amongst found objects collected while I am beachcombing or bushwalking. I also like to add other finds I feel will embellish each piece further, or add a touch of whimsy.I spend my time creating handcrafted decorative items for the home & garden.

Mother's Day for myself, as a mother, isn't the same for me anymore. It's almost as if I forget that I'm meant to enjoy it as well....because my Mum is no longer here.

And it's been nearly 20 years but....still 🥺

My Mum loved yellow.... I've made her many crafts in yellow including a dining room set of table runner, placemats, a buffet runner & lovely curtains in lemon.
But this creation pictured is my favourite.

I only wish she were still here to enjoy it 💛💛💛
