My second time making the same toy, with 4 years between them! 🥰

It’s interesting how some toys come back for a repeat, while the majority are one-offs or are made so rarely that each one feels completely unique.

Even when I make the same toy again, it’s never exactly the same. Different colours, little details, and sometimes even my own ideas change along the way. That’s one of the things I love most about making custom toys — every creation has its own little story. 💕🧶

I’m slowly crocheting some gifts, and it’s been very busy in this category! 😄 I love bringing smiles. 🥰

I think it’s not really a surprise anymore. 😂 They know that if they’re expecting a baby, they’re probably getting a present from me! But I like to think they’re still a little surprised. 😉

And look at these colours! So bright and happy! 🌞🌈

On the order side, things have slowed down a lot, but that’s okay. It means no rushing, more time to make something special when someone needs an urgent toy, and also a little time to pause and think about what’s next for me.

A cute little doll for a special little friend. 💜

When someone keeps your doll for years and then asks you to make another one, I just couldn’t say no! 🥰

We talked about what she wanted, including two sets of clothes. She chose purple shades and yellow, and I took everything we discussed into consideration when creating her perfect doll.

Hopefully, she loves this one as much as the previous one and will cherish it for many years to come. 💕

A little something for someone I recently met during a work training session. We both have twin girls, and she just had that spark.

Why did I make it? Because I can... and because I love crocheting. ❤️

There will be a few more handmade gifts over the next few weeks—some for newborns, and some for others, just because. I love spreading a little kindness through something made with love.

I've been quiet for the past few weeks because I've been busy making these three dolls. Two of them aren't weighted, as the babies weighed over 2.2 kg. I've never made non-weighted preemie dolls before, but it turns out it's actually a thing! They definitely feel different—maybe because they're so light. I'm still not sure how I feel about them yet...

Today was the day — the Slavic Festival in Melbourne! I was excited and nervous at the same time. One thing that kept me going was one of my favourite Romanian dishes: sarmale (stuffed cabbage) 😋. They were delicious, and afterwards I was one very happy lady, surrounded by my magical world of toys.

My girls came to help me, and they were so proud of their mum. They couldn't believe how many people were amazed by my toys. I sold most of them, although one was promptly confiscated by one of my girls!

But it wasn't really about selling. It was about the reactions I received — "These are amazing!", "So magical!", "Very impressive!" Those comments made all the hard work worthwhile.

Now it's time to give these fingers a well-earned rest before creating more toys. ❤️🧶✨

This cute ballerina is ready to join me at the Slavic Festival!

I’m feeling excited and terrified at the same time. Why? Because this is definitely not my usual environment and it’s well outside my comfort zone.

I love sharing my crocheted toys and the little world I create. It’s never really been about making a profit. Whether this ballerina finds a new home or not, that’s not what matters most to me.

I’m simply looking forward to meeting people, sharing my creations, and enjoying the experience.
