Playing around with the etch on this big slicer

SOLD

Smaller than my usual offerings but just as special
157mm x 47mm Utility.
Steel is 1084/Copper cladding over an apex ultra core.
Thin convex grind with a very thin tip.
Handle is an amazing piece of Ambonya Burl

Rough test etch on the big slicer. Happy with where it heading. Not sure on the handle yet 🤔

Pre Heat Treat grinds
290mm x 50mm BBQ slicer/annihilator
Cladding is a mix of copper, nickel and 1084 and the core steel is Blue 2.
No idea on the pants for it yet but if you’re interested in making it your own flick me a message.

Midway through the polish on this 215mm x 55mm Honyaki Gyuto in 26c3. Still a heap of polishing to go but the end is in sight.
