💚 I must acknowledge that our little shop's future remains precarious. While I avoid dwelling on the negatives, the reality of potential closure is increasingly pressing, and I promised to be transparent with you. Although we are getting some sales, for which I cannot thank you enough, the crucial thing right now is regular, consistent support. This consistency is what helps maintain the cash flow necessary for small businesses like ours to not just survive, but to hopefully rebuild and thrive.

Unlike big corporations – and don't come for me lol – like Kmart, Amazon, which all have their place, small businesses are paving the way for change in our society. We strive to do more than offering a minimum wage; we aim to provide wages that allow for more than just living – they allow for thriving. My goal is to support community growth, create flexible employment, and contribute meaningfully beyond mere transactions. I can't speak for everyone but this is my ultimate dream.

However, I need to be straightforward: despite this amazing support, the threat of closing our doors still looms. We are far from safe, but your encouragement has fuelled my determination to persevere.

🖥️ While steering clear of negativity, I'm committed to being honest and transparent about our situation. Currently, I am the shopkeeper, social media manager, bookkeeper, mum, and everything in between – numero uno. If you spot any imperfections on socials or empty sections on the website, rest assured, I’m on it. However, your feedback is always welcome!

📦 Some good news: Some of our suppliers are temporarily shipping directly to you, helping us manage stock levels. This is a temporary bridge, and I'm deeply grateful for your patience and understanding as we utilise this invaluable lifeline.

The truth is, our beloved shop of 9 years is facing a time of unprecedented challenge. Multiple days pass by without a single sale, and the reality we face is stark – without our beautiful shop communities support, we may have to close our doors by the end of February.
