The bride & groom surprised their guests with a perfume bar… and it completely melted hearts 💕

The best part? They managed to keep it a secret, even from the bridal party.

Guests spent the evening discovering scents, blending favourites and creating their own fragrance memory to take home from the day.

For those feeling less creative there were scents pre-designed by the couple named after where they first met, where they 'almost' got engaged, and where they 'did get engaged. 💍 😇

A wedding favour, experience and conversation starter all in one. Our hearts are full 💓

Earlier this week the Victorian State Government , held a mysterious invitation-only event to celebrate small businesses from across the state. The ceremony was held at the stunning where The Hon. Natalie Suleyman MP, Minister for Small and Family Business spoke about how small businesses are the back bone of our community.

✨️We are honoured to have received a Certificate of Comendation along with other Victorian businesses. Now more than ever small businesses need the support of locals. With growing pressure and uncertainty many small family businesses are feeling flat. I am saddened to see on a weekly bases so many amazing businesses closing and the general sentiment that things are hard.

👍Support doesn't need to always be financial (we understand everyone is feeling the pinch). And, whilst a like, comment or share won't pay the bills, it sure can lift the spirits of those businesses on the other end. The strength of word of mouth, reviews and positive engagement is priceless. I encourage you to take an extra second whilst scrolling this week to, like, comment or share as much as you can for all our awesome small businesses.

Blown away by the creations today in the Scent Library. Seeing the creative process at work and the small tweaks to the blends which made them perfect. I really felt privileged to host these passionate teens and get to know what they are drawn to. The smiles at the end once their Eau de Parfum was bottled, after that first spray...they knew they had nailed it 👌

There is something different in our kids and teen workshops, perhaps its less fear of messing up, or stronger sense of what's a hard yes or no to them, but it's always refreshing being a part of them.

Today I was in the warehouse packing orders as we have staff away with school holidays and illness getting around.

I started off feeling overwhelmed with all the orders and wishing our superstar dispatcher Kellie was here (or literally anyone else but me 😂). But after a while I got in the groove and was really enjoying writing sweet little nothings on the postcards we include with orders. I hope they will brighten someone's day, I felt happier after writing them 🫶 ✍️🌞

One of our customers, Jorgia placed an order for 7 of our 8 fragrances available in felt air freshener refills, so I couldn't help but add a little thank you freebie into their order 😍

It was actually not a bad thing to get back in the warehouse for a day. I had time to reflect on how much our processes have improved. Seeing how much the team has done to have us stocked up and ready for Mothers Day madness made my heart sing (especially when 9 stockist orders came through in the space of 3.5 hours 😄).

We teased last week that something new was coming and after receiving multiple requests, our new workshop for teens is live!

Our 60minute Teen Perfume Making Workshop is here for the final week of school holidays. It's a chance to get off screens, get creative and make something that feels completely their own.

They’ll create their own 10ml perfume to take home and actually wear. Something personal, something they made.

No.5 is a non negotiable at this age 💕
Earlier this week I celebrated my 38th birthday 🥳 Tomorrow I will celebrate some more 😁 I'm a big kid at heart and multiple celebrations has been a great excuse to make more memories with my special people 🎂

I've always loved getting together with friends and family, organising fun adventures and sharing experiences together. It's one of the major reasons doing what we do at Red Hill Candle Co. and Perfumery never gets old. We get to be part of memorable occassions and its such a great feeling.

In this season of life I've moved away from one big party late into the night and I'm in my small catch up era where there is time to really enjoy each person.

Kicked the week off with a visit to Gumbaya World with the family (also did this last year!), enjoyed dinner with mum friends, and next up, tomorrow will be a day of wine and pickleball at , followed by a perfume making workshop at with some of my oldest friends. ❤️

How ever you celebrate yours, make sure it fills your cup, life's too short not to 😘 X
