If I’m making a quilt label, then I must be getting close to a finish! I don’t often take. The time to embroider them, but this is for a memoir quilt about my Dad’s life

I’ve got a date with binding tonight for the with Rachel - The Barefoot Crafter Lucy LisaPineNotes

It’s pressed and machined onto the quilt along with a quilt sleeve so I will be leaning into in the hand stitching tonight. Despite having an entire shop at my fingertips, finding the right binding felt more difficult than usual. I wanted the binding to be ‘there’ but not too much, if you know what I mean. I landed on this woven stripe after auditioning about 5 others and it’s 👍🏻

It’s felt like a longtime coming, but I’m stoked that this quilt about my Dad’s life that I’ve been making while taking Heidi Parkes class is almost complete.
