Your pantry isn’t messy because you’re lazy.
It’s messy because it doesn’t have a system.

Here’s our simple 7 step pantry reset we use in clients’ homes 👇🏼

✨ Tip 1: Empty + clean first
You can’t organise around crumbs and chaos. Pull it all out, wipe it down, start fresh.

✨ Tip 2: Categorise everything
Snacks with snacks. Baking with baking. Breakfast together.
When it’s grouped properly, you waste less and buy smarter.

✨ Tip 3: Use storage containers
If you can see the quantity of what you have, you will use it and buy less.
Containers = instant calm + uniform shelves.

✨ Tip 4: Label, label, label
Labels stop the “where does this go?” questions.
And yes… they keep everyone accountable 😉

✨ Tip 5: Maximise vertical space
Adjust the shelves, add more if needed, or add risers and tiered racks.
Use every inch properly and you’ll double your space.

✨ Tip 6: First in, first out
New items to the back, older ones to the front.
Less waste. More efficiency.

A functional pantry saves time, money and mental load every single week. And once it’s set up properly maintenance becomes easy.

Steph and Gian were deep in their new build, managing all of the final stages and in the final weeks of pregnancy when we stepped in to take care of organising and unpacking their nursery.

Every tiny little outfit had a home. Every drawer had a system. Every basket was placed with intention. Mini matching coat hangers, labels for the tiniest newborn pieces and a space set up to actually work for those early weeks of mum life.

Loads of expired items and items that would never be used so we helped to create a space she could call her own. A fresh start after grieving times. With a large amount of care and empathy through this process..
