Wilsons Adventure 🐻✨
Wilson was over the moon on his latest adventure, because this time, his roadside discovery turned out to be a genuine piece of Victorian folk art!
There he was, trotting along, when he spotted a mighty eagle carved from timber, standing proud as ever. With a hop, a wiggle, and his signature “I’ve found something magical” sparkle, Wilson climbed up to meet his new feathered friend. And what a friend it was The Whistling Eagle, handcrafted back in 1998 by renowned Victorian chainsaw sculptor Kevin Gilders (Chainsaw Kev) the same artist behind iconic stump carvings across the state. Wilson couldn’t believe his luck, not only had he conquered a new “mountain,” he’d stumbled upon a hidden treasure of local artistry. One fluffy bear, one legendary eagle, and a roadside moment that felt like discovering a secret chapter of Victoria’s creative history.
