Project Complete-Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery (ACMD)

The ACMD Building is Australia’s first collaborative, biomedical engineering research centre located on a hospital campus (St. Vincent’s private hospital).The 11-storey centre features a light-filled full-height atrium, education centre, multi-level lecture theatre, exhibition space, ground-floor café, multiple seminar and tutorial rooms as well as a variety of specialised laboratories with PC2 requirements.

Here’s a look at what we have been undertaking at the new Footscray hospital kool beans child care centre.

Installing 600m2 of system ARDEX engineered screeds at various depths from 30mm to 120mm which will then be followed with a full fit out in the coming months of resilient floor & wall coverings and carpet tiles.

Take a look at the workmanship of our forth year apprentice Anthony. Here’s a look at one of the ensuites he has been working on at our Northpark private hospital project. Anthony has been asked to complete majority of the last stage’s works here and has been tasked to liase with the builders representatives and our project manager to ensure the works have been carried out on time and to a high standard, and it sure has! The works consist of floor preparation, wall and floor vinyl and carpet tiles.
You should be extremely proud of your efforts Anthony! Keep it up.
