I’m about two months into my sewing obsession now, and it all started with these little cuties.
Somewhere along the way I’ve accidentally created a whole crew of mice… each with their own tiny wardrobes, obviously.

The first mice have already gone off to their new home as a baby gift, and another one is heading out tomorrow. I don’t know what it is about making something this small and detailed, but I’m completely hooked.

I can’t wait to start sharing more of my sewing ventures with you.

I took time to rearrange my life around what matters most to me and my family.

Making is finding its way back in, one small project at a time.

This dress is the first outfit I’ve ever made. Adding a mouse and a matching outfit felt like a good place to start sharing again.

This week has been chaos at Bye, See You HQ—a sick kid, a full lap around the sun, and somehow, I went from 36 to 37 overnight. But in the middle of it all, I got the best gift ever. Jamie secretly painted this incredible portrait of Lenny, the undisputed chicken queen, sneaking in time whenever I wasn’t home. Custom, featuring my favourite person in the world, and chicken-themed? It doesn’t get better than that. Feeling ridiculously special.

It’s no secret—I love accessories. Earrings, bracelets, bags… give me them all! A while back, I painted some vintage train cases for an exhibition, and honestly? I think it’s time to do more. I’ve got a whole stash of vintage cases, leather bags, and other treasures just waiting for a fresh coat of paint. Maybe I should pull them all out, paint every single one, and then swim through them like an accessory mermaid, flipping my (imaginary) sequin-covered tail in a sea of fabulous bags.
