Shire Councillor, Leonie de Hass has signed up for Bosses in Blankets 2026, swapping a warm bed for one night in the cold to raise funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness in Esperance.

Just showing that you are never too young to learn how to make a Quiltworx pattern. This is my 6 year old grandson. Yes, he had a little help with cutting and stitching the longer seams, but the majority was him!!

What a fabulous week of fun and friendship at our annual Winter Quiltworx Retreat.
Thank you to all who attended for making this such a great week.
Just a point of interest, we had ladies from: NSW, SA, VIC, Esperance, Geraldton and the Perth metropolitan area.
