At Little Growies Farmer’s 👩🏼‍🌾 Sunrise Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Market Stall this Sunday, you can get all your weekly produce needs. Even the ingredients for this Avocado 🥑 Dip.
We’re at the Sunrise Market at

“The 5-Minute Creamy Avocado Dip”
This rich and silky dip is ideal for snacking or using as a spread on sandwiches and wraps.

You can whip up a creamy, vibrant avocado dip in just 5 minutes with one ripe avocado,
3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt,
a squeeze of fresh lime juice,
a minced garlic clove.
By simply mashing the ingredients together or blend them until smooth for a perfect pairing with tortilla chips.

Ingredients:
Avocado: 1 large, perfectly ripe
Creaminess: 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
Acid: 1 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1/2 a lime)
Garlic: 1 small clove, finely minced or grated
Herbs: 1/4 cup fresh coriander/cilantro (leaves only), roughly chopped.
Optional Spice: 1/4 of a fresh jalapeño, deseeded
Optional Seasoning: 1/4 tsp sea salt or to taste.

Instructions:
Prep the Avocado: Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the green flesh into a medium size mixing bowl or a food processor.
Combine: Add the Greek yogurt, fresh lime juice, minced garlic, and salt.
If you wish to use coriander/cilantro and jalapeño, toss them in now.
Blend or Mash: Use an immersion blender, a food processor, or simply the back of a fork to mash and mix until your desired consistency is reached.

Serve:
Taste the dip, adjust with a bit more salt and/or lime juice if needed, and serve immediately.

Chef's Tips for Storing:
Avocados naturally turn brown when exposed to air. To keep the dip vibrant and green for up to 3 days in the fridge: Store it in a tightly sealed container. Press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dip before securing the lid to block out air/oxygen.
