A little moment for the Stylidium salmoneum, also known as the Salmon-Pink Triggerplant.

Native to Western Australia, this tiny wildflower is full of surprises. Like other triggerplants, it has a clever reproductive column that quickly moves when a visiting insect lands on the flower, helping to dust it with pollen.

Its delicate salmon-pink blooms may look soft and sweet, but the mechanism behind them is incredibly quick and precise. Just incredible!
