A bathroom we’ll never get over 🤍

Our favourite bathroom layout we’ve designed and built so far — and that bath!! 😍

Soft, warm tones, natural textures, curved details and brushed brass come together to create a space that feels both luxurious and relaxed.

From the arched mirror and fluted vanity to the generous walk-in shower and that freestanding bath… every detail was designed with both beauty and functionality in mind.

Hi, I’m Erin 🤎

Born and raised in Forster, this beautiful coastal town has always felt like home — and luckily, my husband feels the same. We both grew up here and now get to raise our family in the place we love.

With a background in accommodation, marketing and real estate, and a husband who is a builder, building, renovating and creating homes has naturally become a huge part of our life. We also love building and selling homes ourselves, giving me a real appreciation for both the exciting and overwhelming parts of the process.

We’re busy raising our three little ones — two boys, 3 & 4, and our little girl, 1 — along with our two much-loved dogs. Outside of work and family life, you’ll usually find me at the gym, or our family out fishing, riding motorbikes and making the most of the outdoors.

And then there are the slower days I love just as much — being at home, surrounded by our chickens, growing our own fruit and vegetables and enjoying the quiet life. 🌿

I’ve always believed that even the simplest things can be beautiful. A thoughtful, natural colour palette and a few well-chosen details can completely transform a space.

That’s what I love most — creating homes that feel beautiful, relaxed, timeless and genuinely liveable. 🤎

BEFORE → AFTER (KIND OF)

One of my absolute favourite parts of building is watching an idea come to life right before your eyes.

I get genuinely excited looking at concrete pillars and beams — because while they might just look like a building site to most, I can already see what they’re going to become. 🤍

Of course, it’s from lock-up onwards that a designer’s choices really start to come to life. The finishes, textures, colours, joinery and little details all begin to come together, and suddenly you can see the vision becoming reality.

This was our second build, and it was also the home where we really started to discover “our style.”

It’s so special looking back at where we started and seeing how our design style has evolved through each home we’ve created.

THE WHY BEHIND ARC & OAK

Arc & Oak grew from a passion that has been shaped by years of experience in holiday property management, project marketing, and a genuine love of designing and building homes alongside my husband.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of building and selling homes throughout our local area — with each one reflecting a different chapter of our journey, and teaching us something new about what makes a house feel truly special.

Now, as a busy mum of three young children, I have an even deeper appreciation for the way our homes need to work for us.

Beautiful spaces need to be more than beautiful.

They need to be functional, welcoming and thoughtfully designed around the people who use them — whether that’s a busy family home, a holiday escape, a property preparing for sale or a space designed to welcome guests.

Arc & Oak is my way of bringing all of these experiences together — creating spaces that are considered, beautiful and purposeful.

Because good design isn’t just about how a space looks.
It’s about how beautifully it works for the life within it.
