I'm so excited how the latest batch of beauties are coming out! I've had these beautiful copper and brass pieces on my work bench for nearly 2 years while I forage and find JUST the right feathers and gems to compliment them perfectly.

It's one of the challenging - and wonderful - things about ethical slow fashion...but how on earth do you put a price on something that takes you two years to compile?!

Did you guys know I also make other wall hangings with timber and driftwood?

Just like all my creations, these are one of a kind pieces made from elements that have been ethically sourced, foraged, donated - and generally stared at for a few years on the work bench before I find *just* the right piece to complete it.

Here I've got an assortment of driftwood and Huon Pine coat hooks and key chain hooks (with their own hand shaped timber key chain charm), as well as a couple of Huon Pine jewellery display plaques so you can hang your pretties on the wall (...because I never quite understood hiding your jewelling away in a box).

Hey friendly people on the internet! 👋
I thought it was about time to feed the algorithm and face the camera again and say hello. Hello!
My name is Kellie and I'm the tinkerer behind The Forgotten Tree creations. Here's me in my element - covered in festival dust and having an awesome time, back at Multiverse Festival with the market stall. Thank you again to everyone who has supported my creative business over the years.
Truly and deeply appreciative of your support and fun times. 🙏🙏
And special thanks to for collabs and lifting stupidly heavy market gear about!

📸 Sorry for the bad tag...I think this was taken by Laur Yx

After a long winter hiatus, I'm slowly emerging from my cocoon and getting my mind back into summer markets and festivals, yay! Hope you have all survived the winter blues.

If you're in Tassie and like a bush camping festival, come and check out Multiverse. We'll be there with our treasures and dancing shoes on.

Pic: my all-time favourites. Blackheart sassafras has to be THE best timber ever. These darlings remind me of beautiful Tasmanian mountains.

Our Story

At The Forgotten Tree, we love all things handmade and consciously sourced. All timbers used have been hand-selected from found drift wood, discarded craft specialty timbers and off cuts. The beauty is in the detail - hand cut, hand sanded and organic oils are used. Other creations are inspired by found natural objects and lovingly constructed into pieces of adornment with a strong connection to the earth. Please message me if you have any queries. I hope you like my creations. Kellie :)
