Make Designs offer a fast, friendly customised framing service for paintings, photo's, awards, jigsaws, embroidery, sporting memorabilia, football jumpers, trophies, and any item you care to name where its presentation can be enhanced with a beautiful frame. We also specialize in Plaque Sublimation Printing. We are based in Frankston on the Mornington peninsula and use only the highest quality of

materials and workmanship on all of our frames. Our prices are very competitive because we are a family business able to keep overheads to a minimum. We are proud of our impressive reputation and aim to give all our customers the best possible satisfaction.

An incredible 90th birthday present for Michael Caine from his wife, Shakira. These are medals he won from the Korean War when he was just 19!

Lady Shakira Caine, his wife, organised the special gift by contacting the Royal Fusiliers, Sir Michael's former regiment, to help celebrate his milestone birthday. With their assistance, she had his medals, service record, and cap badge mounted in a presentation box.

Major Mick McCarthy, the Royal Fusiliers' regimental secretary, revealed that Lady Shakira had secretly sent her husband's items to their headquarters for this purpose. As a gesture of thanks, she made a charitable donation and shared a photo of Sir Michael with the association.

Last time we posted it was the winter solstice, tomorrow is our summer solstice, lovely long days and short nights especially with daylight saving here in Victoria! In five more days time we will be celebrating Christmas! How time flies! Merry Christmas to all our friends and a safe and happy new year. Joy to the World!
