We just sold these two expressive originals to an incredible client wanting something bold for their entry. The wall is 6m high by 4m so we had to look at stacking works vertically for impact.

I often paint in twos so we had a few options of either keeping the pieces together or splitting them for a little of both which I LOVE. The client went with the first option. 🫶

Both pieces are just over 2m in width and 1.2-1.5m in height.

We specialise in helping clients choose large-scale works for their space with digital mock-ups as well as superimposing pieces into their space.

I love hand dyed fabric- imperfections, mottled colour. They feel real and personal. Add some patches and pins and voila! The best book bag ever! We also have bag charms, key charms and pens.

I’ve been struggling for a while now with how to show up on social media. I’ve been posting about my work and creative practice for 14 years and while I still enjoy showing new work- sometimes it just feels overly promotional and disingenuous.

What I do love to celebrate and encourage is young people creating and mature people rekindling their relationship with their creativity.

As a kid I remember constantly making - my mum’s cupboards will attest to this. I’m an introvert at heart so being alone and creating something with my hands was like therapy. It was a place I could let my mind settle and start to hear my inner voice. The voice that knows what’s best for you. I remember many times throughout my life when I’ve felt unsure or unstable and have had the thought “at least I have my creativity”. It’s been like a friend for me my entire life- something I can turn to when I’m shaky.

This is probably why a lot of my content is kid driven these days. I love providing a creative space for people of all ages to immerse themselves in and make something they didn’t know they could. I believe a creative practice is a spiritual practice which is something we’re severely lacking in modern society.

This is me in my favourite vest and skivvy combo- usually paired with a high waisted jean and rivers (with puffy socks). It was a sick look.

Make something with your hands today. Your nervous system will thank you. 🙏

I’ve never planned paintings. For me the thrill is the decision in the moment. THAT’S the reason for being in the studio. The possibility that it could all go horribly wrong.
