Hi All.

Well, the time has come. A bit of a sad day, I guess, although I'm really proud that, with your help, for exactly 20 years we gave Canberra a reliable, top quality TRUE antiques/collectables centre.

There are SOOO MANY people to thank.

Hi All.

Here we are - our FINAL DAY of trading @ CANBERRA ANTIQUES CENTRE! 20 years ago (to the day) my Mum and Dad were here for the opening of our brand new centre.

Dad is no longer with us, but Mum (who turns 91 in January) is still doing quite well and living independently at Kingscliff, northern New South Wales. Both were pretty nervous about my new venture, but it didn't take long for them to realise Canberra Antiques Centre was a winner!

Thanks for being an important part of our success.

Hi All,

We're well and truly into our FINAL weekend of trading @ CANBERRA ANTIQUES CENTRE, And a huge THANK YOU to everyone who dropped by yesterday, making it one of the best Saturdays we've ever had. At the end of the day I was EXHAUSTED!!!

Hopefully another busy day today. We now have only 3 days of trading left, so please do make the most of this last opportunity to bag a bargain and perhaps some early Christmas shopping, before we finally close our doors at 5 pm Tuesday October 31st (which will take us 20 years TO THE DAY since we opened).

Our FINAL weekend of trading has arrived @ CANBERRA ANTIQUES CENTRE.

Still PLENTY of excellent gear available, much of it at substantially REDUCED prices...a PERFECT (and final) opportunity for some early Christmas buying.

Yesterday (Friday) afternoon was very busy - it was GREAT to catch up with some old friendly faces - and we're expecting things to be pretty hectic this weekend.

5 days to go and our FINAL WEEKEND is COMING UP!!!

After 20 years, CANBERRA ANTIQUES CENTRE will close for the final time Tuesday Octover 31.

There are MANY excellent bargains to be had throughout the centre...I've posted a few images of good gear which is still available. There is HEAPS more than the items shown.

Hiya Everyone, thought I'd continue our countdown with this post........

3 WEEKS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, time is moving quickly, Daylight Saving has rolled around again (at least here in the South) and CANBERRA ANTIQUES CENTRE's CLOSING DATE is getting closer...

We've had a LOT of friendly familiar faces drop by over the weekend to say their goodbyes...it's really touching that so many think so fondly of our little business. And I'd like to acknowledge that a LARGE amount of our turnover has been REPEAT BUSINESS, so a HUGE thank you for that.

Although things are noticeably thinning out (a bit like my hair!!!) there are still PLENTY of beautiful items for sale at discounted prices. So please consider an early Christmas shopping visit. October 31st (5 pm) and we're done!
