What a weekend! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our first ever Pokémon TCG Cup with a CASH prize pool! It was awesome seeing players from all age divisions battling it out, catching up with friends, trading cards and generally having a great day around the tables.

A massive thank you as well to Jem.3D for generously donating prizes for our runners-up across all age groups. We really appreciate the support you continue to show our Pokémon community. ❤️

PSA Grading is clearing their backlog 👀

In the meantime, our grading services for will be limited to Regular and above - ensuring your high value cards still get the attention they need 💕

You can read the public announcement on PSA’s website. This does not impact any of our current submissions, but will hopefully mean those that have not shown progress for weeks will move a little faster.

A reminder our Bulk CGC Grading Submissions are there for anyone who is looking to continue to grade. We anticipate that grading times for CGC will increase a little due to the pause on PSA.

As soon as the lower tiers reopen we will be ready to accept your cards and get everyone sorted - we will offer HUGE deals for people submitting 50+ cards, so save them up in a pile!

PS. We often get asked about TAG Grading, we applied 6 months ago and are on their waiting list - we anticipate that will take longer too now with ripples throughout the industry.

🚨 PSA SUBMISSIONS UPDATE 🚨
A little heads up from your local cardboard enablers 💜

We’ve had to revamp our PSA Grading service tiers and pricing due to PSA changing estimated turnaround times, alongside increases to freight and insurance costs internationally. We’ve tried to keep things as affordable and straightforward as possible while still making sure your shiny cardboard is getting to PSA safely 🙏

The good news?
We’ve now added PACK SUBMISSIONS 👀
Yep… sealed packs can now go on the emotional rollercoaster too.
(Please note: minimum 3 packs per submission applies.)

🎬 Entertainment Cards
📦 Sealed Packs

Submitting cards older than 1980? Please visit us in-store or send an email to [[email protected]] as minimum submission quantities apply for vintage items.

We’ll also be adding more information to the website soon about PSA Reholder Services and Cross-Over Grading for those looking to refresh older slabs or test their luck crossing over from other grading companies 👀

What a weekend at HBT Collectables 😭❤️

40 players joined us for the Pokémon TCG: Chaos Rising prerelease and the pulls were honestly cooked. We had a SIR Mega Greninja ex AND a Mega Floette ex pulled literally right next to each other at the table… the screaming was justified.

Also, huge shout out to the mums, dads & carers who are getting involved in the hobby with the kids lately. Watching parents slowly go from “I’m just here supervising” to asking questions about card effects and getting excited over pulls has been genuinely so wholesome 😂

Friday Commander night also saw some new faces at the tables which is always awesome to see — hopefully you all come back again! Plus, we had Jared.

Then we rolled straight into our One Piece Pirate Party with more ridiculous pulls, fun games and good vibes all around 🏴‍☠️

The gaming community in Geelong is honestly growing so much right now and it’s really cool to watch. Please continue supporting ALL your local game stores around Geelong — every event entry, snack purchase, booster pack and shared post helps stores keep building spaces and running events for the community ❤️
