Hello Likers and Followers,

Things haven't been overly busy here at Nothing Butt Cupcakes lately, but I've had the pleasure of creating two very special celebration cakes, both marking wonderful milestones!

❤Little Teapot Cafe & Play – Celebrating 10 Years❤

I had the pleasure of creating a beautiful cake for Little Teapot's 10th anniversary celebrations!

I'll be making this cake again, along with another two cakes, as their birthday celebrations continue this week.

A big congratulations to Little Teapot on 10 wonderful years!

🧡SES Corio Unit – Celebrating 50 Years🧡

This one was particularly special and a little closer to home.

My husband, Justin, is the longest serving member of the Corio SES Unit, so when I heard they were celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, I knew I just had to make their celebration cake!

For 50 years, the dedicated volunteers of the Corio SES Unit have been giving their time to help keep our community safe.

Whether it's responding to storms and floods, attending road accidents or helping people during emergencies, these incredible volunteers give up their own time, often leaving their families and everyday lives behind to help complete strangers.

Having been part of an SES family for so many years, I've seen firsthand the commitment, training, dedication and sacrifices that go into being a volunteer.

It's not just about wearing the orange uniform. It's about being there for the community when people need help the most.

50 years of volunteering, 50 years of dedication and 50 years of serving the community.

Congratulations to all the past and present members of VICSES Corio Unit on such an incredible milestone. You should all be very proud of what you've achieved!

It was an absolute pleasure to create this cake for your celebrations.

Hi Likers and Followers,

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of creating this gorgeous Alice in Wonderland themed cake for Miss Penelope’s very special 1st birthday. Featuring lots of beautiful roses and Alice in Wonderland inspired images, it was such a pretty theme to bring to life. I also made matching decorated biscuits to complete the celebration.

A few weeks ago, I also got to create this motorcycle themed cake for a little boy celebrating his 2nd birthday! Such a fun change of theme and another cake I really enjoyed creating.

I hope both little birthday celebrations were filled with lots of fun and that the cakes and biscuits were enjoyed by everyone!

Happy Birthday to Penelope and the little motorcycle fan!

Hello Likers and Followers,

Well, somehow another month has passed since my last post! It’s hard to believe how quickly the time is flying.

I’m happy to say that this past month has brought a little more productivity back into my caking world, which has been really lovely to see. After being so busy with everything except cakes lately, it has been nice to get back into the kitchen and spend some time doing what I love.

I’ve got quite a few creations and photos to share, so rather than rambling on about each one, I’ll let the cakes do the talking! I hope you enjoy having a little look through what I’ve been creating.

Life has been incredibly busy behind the scenes, and I’ve honestly found it difficult to keep up with photographing, posting and sharing my cakes on social media. There always seems to be something else needing my attention!

We’ve also been preparing for a very exciting addition to our household. We are welcoming a Japanese exchange student into our home for 9 weeks, so there has been quite a bit of preparation going on to make sure everything is ready for his arrival.

So, with plenty happening behind the scenes, I’m hoping to get back into the swing of sharing more of my cake creations with you all.

I hope you’re all doing wonderfully and enjoying this final weekend of winter. It won’t be long now until spring officially arrives, bringing warmer days, sunshine and hopefully lots more opportunities for cake!

Hi Likers and Followers,

🎸 "Don't wanna be an American Idiot..." 🎸

Green Day released American Idiot back in 2004, and over 20 years later their music is still winning one little boy!

This awesome cake was made for one very cool 5 year old who is absolutely obsessed with Green Day. It was his special birthday request, and I had so much fun bringing it to life.

The edible cake image was created using ChatGPT, featuring the birthday boy alongside Green Day's lead singer, while the overall cake design was created by me.

Happy Birthday to one very happy little rockstar!

Hi Likers and Followers,

I can't believe it's been almost nine weeks since I last posted! Things have been a little quiet in the Nothing Butt Cupcake kitchen lately, but rest assured, I'm still baking and would love to help with any upcoming celebrations or special events you have planned.

In the meantime, please enjoy these photos of some of my creations from the past couple of months. Thank you for your continued support, it means the world to me!

Hi Likers & Followers,

What a busy week it has been! With so many last-minute orders coming through, I just couldn’t say no, because no child should go without a birthday cake on their special day.

This week I created a magical unicorn cake featuring a colorful fault lines filled with sprinkles. The horn, ears and eyes were all laser cut by me, with the horn and ears finished in custom vinyl.

A superhero cake for Charlotte’s 4th birthday, complete with an acrylic topper designed and made by me, along with an edible printed cake wrap.

A KPOP inspired Demon Hunters cake for Millie, one of my very first cakes of this style! Even though Demon Hunters is incredibly popular, this was such a fun design to create and I’d absolutely love to make more like it. The topper, number 7 and stars were all custom designed and cut by me.

The Hello Kitty rainbow swirl cupcakes, also made especially for Millie’s celebration.

I truly hope everyone loved their cakes as much as I loved creating them.

Wishing all the beautiful mums and families a very Happy Mother’s Day.

Hey Likers and Followers,

I whipped up a super cute cake with bunting for a first birthday celebration, and created a fabulous 70th birthday cake splashed with pink and accented with gold. Plus, I made some delightful pink and yellow cupcakes for a baby shower and adorable purple daisy cupcakes paired with pink ones topped with rainbow sprinkles.

I still can't spill the beans about that surprise I mentioned. Fingers crossed it won’t be much longer!

In the meantime, I'm happy to chat cakes and cupcakes for your next occasion, or create toppers and edible prints to make your own creations.

Hi Likers and Followers,

I know I teased some exciting news last time, but I can’t spill the beans just yet! Fingers crossed it won't be too long until I can share!

In the meantime, I had the pleasure of creating a gigantic rainbow cake, adorable Gabby Dollhouse cupcakes, Cars themed cupcakes, and some special cupcakes for Zayne's first birthday celebration!

Wishing everyone an amazing Easter this weekend and a fantastic start to the school holidays! Enjoy 🐰
