So great to be back on the snips this weekend for Erin, and her rustic Freshwater Creek wedding 🌻

I will always have a soft spot for sunflowers and their happy little faces 🌞 So much cute. Even these guys, who weren't keen on showing their faces and needed a lot of prompting to open up.. sunshine, the heater, a good talking to and eventually the hairdryer 😂 So stubborn.

I went very non-tradish with the tree this year, and finally found a use for the dried banksia stems I pinched from the burn pile at a while back 🙏Perfect branches my little bird ornaments to perch on 🐦

🌸 SHOP CLOSED 🌸

I have absolutely loved making and delivering bouquets and arrangements to you all over the last few months. But I have made the difficult decision to close down the day-to-day delivery side of Dear Prudence.

I have just started a fab new job Mon - Fri in a totally different field and I am loving learning new things! 🤓

A colourful native funeral sheaf, to honour the life of Susan 💕

A hand-tied sheaf is an economical and sustainable alternative to a full casket spray, which uses a lot of flowers and non-biodegradable mechanics. A sheaf is a simple flat-backed hand-tied bouquet, which can be placed in a vase after the service, if the family choose to keep the flowers with them.

It's always an honour to create funeral flowers.
