One of the things I love most about this industry is the women it’s brought into my life 💛

These women inspire me every day. Not just as a designer, but as a person.

The work they create is incredible, but it’s who they are behind the scenes that I admire most.

When someone needs help, advice, a recommendation, a second opinion, or someone in their corner, one of these women always steps forward. There is no competition, no keeping score, just genuine support and generosity.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this group

The kindness, encouragement and willingness to lift each other up is something I never take for granted. In a world that can sometimes feel noisy and competitive, these friendships are a beautiful reminder that there is room for all of us to succeed.

I’m completely in love with this piece 🫶🏽

Happy House by is one of those artworks that feels impossible to walk past without stopping.

It’s layered, expressive, joyful and full of unexpected colour combinations that somehow work beautifully together.

For me, great art isn’t just something that fills a wall. It’s often the starting point for an entire room, influencing colours, textures and the overall feeling of a space.

This original work has been hanging at Hope & Autumn and every time I see it, I love it a little more 🩵🩵🩵

My top 3 tips when designing a laundry 👇🏽

1. Prioritise storage early
Think beyond overhead cupboards. Pull-out hampers, broom storage, drying rails and somewhere for the vacuum make a huge difference to how the space functions day-to-day.

2. Don’t underestimate bench space
Even a small folding area can completely change how usable the room feels.

3. Make it enjoyable to be in
Your laundry doesn’t need to feel purely practical. Good lighting, beautiful tiles, warm cabinetry colours or even artwork can make it feel far more considered 🤍

The best living rooms have personality.

My biggest tip? Stop thinking about every piece individually and start thinking about how the room feels as a whole 🫶🏽

Colour, texture, lighting, art, shape… that’s what creates warmth and personality 🩵

People spend so much time choosing the tile… but the real magic is often in how it finishes.

These Moroccan Zellige tiles weren’t tucked between cabinetry so the edge detail became really important.

No trims. No bulky edging. Just an incredibly clean finish and beautiful craftsmanship from our tiler 🫶🏽

The small details always matter👌🏽
