Today’s “Just for Fun” - kimono fabric jewellery. This time brooches.

I made some flowers from the kimono fabric and then decided to add a clasp, so they are now brooches. These were so quick and easy to make, think I might end up with a swag of fabric flowers.

Today’s “Just for Fun” - Kimono fabric jewellery

So I tried something different. I had some scraps of kimono fabric and after scrolling Pinterest, I got an idea what to do with them.

Using only what I had on hand, which was basically beads, wool and macramé cord, this is how my first attempt turned out. I wanted to use more fabric for around the neck piece, however most of the fabric I have is quite small. I have a few more ideas planned, so stay tuned.

So I’ve made some cards in the usual style that I have done before, but have also tried to incorporate some of the pictures that I was using for the inserts to frames. I quite like how they have turned out.

Last minute creations before I start to pack up the car in preparation for tomorrow.

I’ll be selling frames, greeting cards, mini wire creations, and some little knickknacks. Apart from the frames, most of my items will be under $10, with some multiple buy options being offered, so it’s a good chance to grab yourself a bargain. Cash and EFTPOS will be accepted.

Hope to see you MANORMADE FESTIVAL . Remember 10-3, and animal friendly, so bring along your fur babies.

Today’s “Just for Fun”

These are some of the inserts for the small frames, 10cm x 15cm, that will be available for purchase this Saturday 1st August at the Manor Made Market in Winchelsea.

I’ve decided that instead of putting them in frames, I will keep them loose and you can choose your frame, either black or natural. I will then insert it into the frame for you.

Perfect little gifts for a birthday, Christmas or maybe even to keep for yourself. These will be available for $25 each, from 10am until 3pm on Saturday.

ANNOUNCEMENT

I’ll be hosting a stall next Saturday 1st August at this market. I’ll have some frames, mini wire creations, greeting cards and little gifts, all of which are origami inspired. So why not get a start on your Christmas shopping early.
