Sometimes the world feels all too much!!! So here’s a pic of my jacarandas starting to bloom while I vent…

The absolute repulsiveness of had me awake at 2am thinking about my own experiences at university. I was 18yo out at City Rowers, and was far too naive to think anything would happen to me. But nope. Four footballers (and what makes it worse they were friends of my friend), took me outside for a walk. I remember walking past a security guard by the river… and then it happened… SA’d by four men. For some reason I remember that security guard and the look on his face when I was walked back inside… I remember thinking then, why he didn’t stop it… I didn’t report it. I knew what would happen… I was drunk… and clearly nothing had changed in the past 30 years… That wasn’t the only time, it was footballers again the next time… different place, different situation but same results. I stopped watching football after that…
I’m about to turn 50, and every single woman I have ever met has had an experience like this, with men… obviously but ffs, when are we going to believe women? When are women going to feel safe? When are men going to stop r@ping women? Arghhh!!! My heart breaks but I am not surprised. We all have our own stories, yet most of us don’t report it because we know there’s no consequences, just more emotional abuse at the hands of the system protecting rapists. I don’t know what we can do. I am raising my son to stand up, not to look the other way.
If it’s all too much, put your phone in timeout, and get outside into nature. It really is the best medicine and will heal your soul!

I can’t help myself! Obviously these clippings are too good to compost, so let’s “chuck some water in the bucket and see what happens”!
When I started business coaching I was asked how in the world did I come up with creating a business out of terrariums - and my honest answer was - I didn’t think about it… it just happened! If you’re passionate about something, follow your heart, things will either work or they won’t! Life’s all about learning!
I really am a lazy gardener… minimal effort for maximum gain!
