Kids have had a great time over the holidays making firestarters for our camping trips. Grab an egg carton and fill them with dryer lint, dried native leaves, peanut shells, orange rind, sawdust twigs and dried grass clippings .... pretty much anything dried and ready to burn and fill with soy wax. They used the left overs from my house candles all melted down together...... best starters and all things from home going to good use.
