For our customers that have purchased an AS-6x6 cabbing machine, we now have these optional 3D printed k***s that fit over the tap. If your hands are getting a bit arthritic or find it difficult to turn the small metal control, these larger k***s might make it easier for you. $30 for a set of 7 k***s (one for each tap plus a spare or use for the side retrofit water fitting).

Its looking a lot like Christmas !! Still 3 months to go but people are keeping us on our toes with tumblers going out left, right and centre plus flat laps and lots of other bits and pieces. Luckily we have been busy restocking so have full shelves leading into the holiday season.

We are just finalising a Covington Engineering order so if you need any of their gear, please let us know as soon as possible. We are still able to bring individual items in any time but we can average down freight costs in a larger sea order. So if you were interested in a slab saw or any of their other machinery, now is the time to lock it in.

Safety is something that can be easily overlooked when you get involved in lapidary but there are some risks that should be managed. To protect your eyes, ears and lungs, you should always wear appropriate PPE when working stone (cutting, sawing, grinding, etc). It is easy to do, doesnt cost much and makes things a lot safer. Stay safe and healthy !!

For buyers of our bulk plastic pellets, we have switched to new HDPE pellets which are a better shape but quite a bit heavier than our previous LDPE. This batch is white in colour and about 1.25kg/L. Plenty in stock so contact us if you need stock for weighted blankets, plush toy stuffing and other craft uses.

POSTAGE/FREIGHT COST UPDATE: just letting you know that we will be revising our shipping costs in late April. This will be no surprise but we have been advised of upcoming cost increases for post and courier. Sorry about this but unfortunately, the world situation is making it difficult for everyone.

Australia Post fuel surcharge will be increasing from 4.8% to 12% . Our base rates with Team Global Express (Toll Ipec and Priority) are going up by 5.5% with extra fuel surcharges as well. Incoming freight is more expensive due to higher fuel surcharges.

We will do our very best to minimise the extra cost to customers. If you have been interested in purchasing something but have not got around to completing the order, then sooner might be better than later. We encourage you to check the full delivered cost when comparing pricing - our customers are important to us and we always try to offer good value.

Quality product made in Canada - suitable for faceting, skin polishing, etc. We are currently unable to get Gearloose Diastiks but these are an excellent alternative.
