If you’re new here, hi 👋 I’m Bec, the maker behind Haven Homewares.
I started making around four years ago and what began as me just wanting to create beautiful things has somehow turned into Haven Homewares.

Everything you see here is handmade by me — usually in between work, family life, four kids and all the other chaos that comes with it 😂

I love experimenting with colour, marbling and different shapes, and one of my favourite things about making with Jesmonite is that you never quite know how a piece is going to turn out. No two are ever exactly the same.

Over the years Haven has grown from homewares into DIY kits and workshops too, which means I now get to share the fun of making with other people not just keep it all to myself.

I also absolutely love doing markets. There’s something so lovely about getting out from behind Instagram, meeting people in person, chatting about what I make and seeing which pieces people are drawn to. It’s honestly one of my favourite parts of having Haven.

I’m definitely not a perfectly curated, full-time creative business. It’s me, making things I love whenever I can, photographing them, packing orders and figuring things out as I go.

And lately there seem to be quite a few new faces here, so I thought it was probably time I actually introduced myself!
